This policy covers the Equipy marketing website at www.equipy.io. Use of the Equipy application at portal.equipy.io is governed by the separate agreement between Equipy and your organisation, which sets out how customer and asset data is processed.

Equipy ("we", "us", "our") is operated by Inerra Consulting. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website. This policy explains what we collect, why, how we use it, and the rights you have. If you have any questions, contact us at hello@equipy.io.

Information we collect

We collect only what we need to respond to you and to run the website:

• Information you give us. When you submit the contact form we collect your name, work email, company name and the details of your enquiry. When you book a demo you provide your name, email and scheduling details.
• Information collected automatically. Standard technical and usage data such as pages visited, referring site, browser and device type, and approximate location, collected through cookies and analytics.

How we use your information and our legal basis

• To respond to your enquiry and provide the information or demo you asked for (to take steps at your request, and our legitimate interest in responding to prospective customers).
• To operate, secure and improve the website and understand how it is used (our legitimate interest, and your consent where analytics cookies are used).

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making that produces legal effects.

Cookies and analytics

We use a small number of cookies to make the site work and to measure traffic (via Google Tag Manager and associated analytics). You can accept, block or delete cookies through your browser settings; blocking some cookies may affect how the site performs.

Who we share it with

We share personal data only with service providers who process it on our behalf under contract, including:

• Formspree, which processes contact-form submissions and delivers them to us by email;
• Calendly, which handles demo scheduling;
• Microsoft Azure, which hosts the website; and
• our analytics providers.

We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our legal rights.

International transfers

We operate in the United Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates, and some of our providers are based in other countries. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK or UAE, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to deal with your request and to maintain our business records, after which it is deleted or anonymised. Analytics data is retained for a limited period in line with our providers' settings.

Your rights

Under the UK GDPR and the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our use of your personal data, and to request a copy in a portable format. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@equipy.io and we will respond within the timeframes required by law.

Complaints

If you are in the UK and are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk. If you are in the UAE, you can contact the UAE Data Office. We would appreciate the chance to address your concerns first.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last revised, and any material change will be reflected here.
